Large Scale Solar Farm in Sungai Petani, Kedah (Northern region of Peninsula Malaysia).

FG Generator Sdn Bhd (FGG), our dealer in Malaysia, recently supplied, installed, tested and commissioned 15 units of FG Wilson P16-1 generating sets for a 110MW Large Scale Solar Farm in Sungai Petani, Kedah (Northern region of Peninsula Malaysia).

Upon completion, this 110MW Large Scale Solar Farm will be the largest “single site” solar power generating plant in Malaysia with the power supply being fed into the national electricity supply grid to provide green renewable energy.

The FG Wilson P16-1 generating sets are provided with:
• Weatherproof sound-attenuating canopies to withstand the harsh wet and hot tropical climate of Malaysia.
• Automatic changeover switches and controllers to start-up and supply emergency power during power failures without human intervention.
• High-level Modbus communications for the end user to remotely monitor the status of the generating sets at this un-manned solar plant.

Despite the disruptions caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, FG Wilson and FG Generator successfully completed and delivered all 15 units ahead of schedule, and FG Generator will continue to provide after sales support and services to ensure the reliability and availability of these emergency power supplies for many years to come
